Cristina D. Ríos Mena integrated to the firm as an associate since February 2016. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez Campus with a B.S. in Biology where she represented the University playing NCAA Division II Volleyball. She obtained her Juris Doctor in the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Law. She first worked in Beacon Hill Consulting for two years as a Legal Counsel, a firm dedicated to government affairs and public policy issues. She then went to work one year under professional services in Pietrantoni, Méndez & Álvarez, L.L.C. as an advisor regarding confidential investigations in the banking area including issuance of bonds.
Mrs. Ríos Mena is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. She is also a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. She has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
